  I had a great time at Maxwells! A friend and I visited when we still weren’t allowed to sit indoors (couple of weeks ago) so we sat on the roof… read more terrace and it was fabulous! Fully covered, with heaters for when it got a bit chilly, what is there to complain about? The food was delicious also, and we very much enjoyed our drinks (would very much recommend the cocktail pitchers). The service was good; the staff had it running like clockwork and were being very covid-conscious. It was a wonderful night out all round!

One thing to note: if you’re going to make the bathrooms a one in one out rule, then I’d suggest stopping groups of girls from going in all at once to take photos with each other. I didn’t care but others might.

I’m happy to say that’s not the case with Maxwells. We are regulars here because they just get it right. The food is consistently good, it’s clean, friendly and well priced.

There’s plenty of space inside, outside and upstairs with a large roof seating area to take your pick from.

The whole team are excellent and it’s an a very enjoyable experience.

We ordered our drinks and not… read more too long after our food arrived. I had the Steak Melt, with was very tasty and the wife had Pulled Pork loaded fries, now that was a plate full, it could have fed both of us and it was really tasty.

Not too pricey and well worth a visit.

The food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long considering it was very busy at the time.
We all felt that the prices were very reasonable too.
Couldn’t fault it and we will definitely be returning.
